Who we are
Troka Barber Studios is a barber shop located at 349 W Susquehanna St, Allentown, PA 18103. This policy explains what information we collect on trokabarberstudios.com (the "site"), how we use it and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you fill out the contact form we collect:
- Your name.
- Your phone number.
- Your email address (optional).
- The service you are interested in (optional).
- Your permission for us to contact you, with the date, time and exact text you agreed to.
If you contact us by WhatsApp, text message, phone call or email, we also receive the information you include in that conversation.
Information collected automatically
To know how many people visit the site we use our own statistics, with no tracking or advertising cookies:
- A random identifier stored in your browser (local storage) that does not contain your name or contact details.
- The page you visit, the language, the device type (phone, tablet or computer) and the site you came from.
- We do not store your IP address. To prevent form abuse we use an encrypted, irreversible fingerprint of the connection that is deleted after a few days.
You can delete the identifier at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
How we use your information
- To contact you, answer your request and help you book your appointment through the channel you authorized (call, text message, WhatsApp or email).
- To email you a confirmation that we received your details, if you entered your email.
- To understand how many people visit the site and improve it.
- To protect the site against spam and abuse.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not share your phone number or your consent to receive messages with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Service providers
We use these providers to run the site. They only receive what they need to provide their service:
- Cloudflare: site hosting, database and photo storage.
- Resend: delivery of the site’s emails.
- Booksy: booking system. If you book through Booksy (inside the site or on its own page), Booksy handles your data under its own privacy policy.
- WhatsApp (Meta): if you choose to message us on WhatsApp, the conversation is also governed by WhatsApp’s policies.
- Google Maps: if you open the "Get directions" link, Google’s policy applies.
We may also disclose information when required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact details for as long as needed to handle your request and maintain our customer relationship, or until you ask us to delete them. Visit statistics do not contain data that directly identifies you.
Your choices and rights
- Stop text messages: reply STOP. For help, reply HELP.
- Stop WhatsApp messages, calls or emails: tell us through the same channel or write to support@trokabarberstudios.com.
- Request a copy, a correction or the deletion of your data: write to support@trokabarberstudios.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
We offer kids’ haircuts, but appointments are handled by a parent or guardian. The site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.
Security
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the panel where we see contact requests is protected by a password, an email verification code and attempt limits. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will post the new version on this page with its effective date.
